Common questions for food trucks
Does the till work without internet?
No. Till and shop need internet, mobile data is enough. If only the TSE goes down briefly, you keep ringing up sales, and the receipts are signed retroactively once it answers again.
Does my food truck need a TSE?
Yes. The requirement applies to every electronic till, even at a market or a festival. With the Till module you get the cloud TSE (the certified fiscal module German tills must use) from fiskaly. It sets itself up, you plug in nothing and enter nothing. A reversal deletes nothing, it's its own counter-receipt. In the evening comes the Z-report, and for your accountant and a tax audit there's the DATEV and DSFinV-K export.
What does a food truck till cost?
You only book what you need: the order system for your own shop, plus the till. Per location, cancel monthly, no commission on your orders. The digital menu with QR code costs nothing. What each module costs is on our pricing page.
Can I accept pre-orders?
Yes. Your guests pre-order in your shop and choose their pickup time, paid online in advance if they like. You set how many orders fit into a time slot. Anyone who pre-ordered doesn't stand in line.
How fast can I be up and running?
Download the app, scan your menu by photo, connect a card reader or printer. The cloud TSE sets itself up. You can set everything up yourself, no technician needed. Or you let us do it.
What hardware do I need?
An iPhone, iPad, Android device or a PC. For card payment, use a card reader from Stripe or Mollie, or your own EC terminal. A receipt printer from the Epson TM series is optional. Whatever's missing, you can rent from us or buy yourself.
How do my guests know where I'm parked today?
You enter opening hours per day, with several times a day and special days for markets and festivals included. Your shop only accepts orders when you're actually there. With the Marketing module, an announcement in the shop tells guests where you're parked today.
