How do I create a digital menu?

In the dashboard under Menu > New product. You create categories (starters, mains, drinks), add products with image, price and description, and publish. Your first menu is ready in 15 minutes.

Can I offer variants like sizes and extras?

Yes. Each product can have variant groups — e.g. size (S/M/L), extras (cheese, bacon), sides. Each variant has its own surcharge. Customers choose when ordering.

Can I add images to my dishes?

Yes. Upload product images in the dashboard — they are automatically optimised for the web. Dishes with images receive 30–50% more orders according to our data.

Does the menu support allergens and additives?

Yes. You can assign allergens and additives per product. They are displayed on the product in the order view — LMIV-compliant.

Can I set up daily specials or lunch menus?

Yes. You can restrict categories by time — e.g. lunch menu only 11:00–14:00, breakfast until 11:00. Outside those hours they are automatically hidden.

How do I share my digital menu?

Via link, QR code or directly through Google Business Profile. GastroSystem generates a QR code for your menu that you can print on tables, flyers or packaging.

Can I temporarily disable products?

Yes. One click on 'Sold out' hides the product immediately. Customers do not see it until you reactivate it. Ideal for sold-out daily specials.

Does the menu support multiple languages?

Yes. You can add product names and descriptions in multiple languages. The language is automatically selected based on the customer's browser setting.

Can I have different menus for delivery and dine-in?

Yes. You can mark products as 'delivery only', 'dine-in only' or 'both'. This way you do not show delivery customers a drinks flat rate and dine-in guests do not see delivery terms.

How do I update prices?

Change the price in the dashboard and save — live immediately. In-progress orders keep the old price, new orders use the new one. No waiting, no publishing step required.

Can I import my existing menu?

Currently you add products manually in the dashboard. For larger menus our onboarding team assists with the import. Most restaurants have their menu digitised in under an hour.

How many products can I create?

Unlimited. There is no limit on products, categories or variants — on both the free and Professional plans.
